ASOS Sequin Top Skater Dress, £50 (picture taking on my phone, sorry!)
The festive party season is almost upon us; cue sartorial panic. What to wear? Dress/skirt/shorts/trousers/jumpsuit/play suit, the options are endless! And that's before you add shoes, jewellery and make up into the equation.
Luckily for me, step 1 of 3 has already been completed with the purchase of ASOS's Sequin Top Skater dress in navy - a gorgeous little number that ticks both the sparkly and swishy boxes. The cherry on top is that it's fitted bust and flared skirt make for a flattering shape so all you'll need to worry about is balancing in whatever towering shoes you decide to pair it with. If you're inbetween sizes, I'd say go for the size below as I ordered a 12 to ensure it fit in the bust area but ended up having to get a 10.
If you're not the biggest fan of navy, then luckily you can get the dress in a festive burgundy red or futuristic silver.
