Last Saturday, we went to Lovebox festival in Victoria Park, East London. Highlights included the unexpectedly gorgeous weather (thunderstorms were forecast); dancing to Soul II Soul's set; seeing Nas performing his 1994 Illmatic album to perfection; Maverick Sabre crooning his way through his emotional songs; the electric, crowd-thumping Bonobo set and rounding off the day with the dazzling, neon M.I.A. performance (despite sound issues).
