Sadly this is my final Crete post. I thought I'd shut up for a change and let the photos do the talking. We were a 30 minute walk from the Old Town but it was a picturesque stroll from our apartment along the beach front. It was filled with little shops and tavernas lining the beautiful backstreets, with the odd stray cat adoring the doorways.
I'd really recommend Crete to anyone - it's got hot weather, stunning views, delicious food, hospitable locals and all really reasonably priced.
I can't wait to go back and visit Greece again, hopefully Santorini or Mykonos next time!
